• Acting as main contact for the car rental companies in the Netherlands and Luxembourg; • Preparing, monitoring and reporting the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts according to local accounting law and IFRS; • Coordinating the preparation and the audit of the annual financial statements; • Preparing the tax declarations (CIT, VAT, Local taxes) in cooperation with the tax advisors; • Managing the introduction of the new accounting system (SAP);

In my current position I am responsible for managing the team of 3 people, ensuring the smooth General Ledger close process and coordinating SOX and Year-end audits. I am also actively involved in the General Ledger related standardisation projects.

- Support and coordination of General Ledger close processes; - Preparing Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliations, monthly BS review file and presenting it to in-country managers; - Ensuring the compliance with controls (SOX, ACF) and completeness of control backup documents; - Actively involved in the audit of SOX controls and year-end audit; - Acting as main contact point for Benelux entities for in-country colleagues and other teams within Shared Service Centre.

- Support of monthly, quarterly and annual General Ledger close process according to Group Accounting Policies; - Working closely with Business supported to ensure effective delivery, to resolve issues and put in place process improvements; - Acting as Balance Sheet Integrity (BSI) coordinator and preparing monthly, quarterly BSI status reports

- Reviews on quarterly basis according to national accounting law, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Israeli accounting standards (Israeli GAAP); - Preparation of quarterly reports according to the relevant accounting standards; - Co-ordinating year-end statutory audits by managing teams of 2 or 3 people; - International and worldwide clients mainly from the field of developing real esta te listed in the London Stock Exchange (AIM)
