Dexia Holdings USA is a non bank financial entity consolidating the DEXIA group's liabilities and Guaranteed Investment Contracts (GIC's) business in the Americas. As part of the network governance, I am also a member of the Group's Oversight Committee i.e. the North America Management Board (NAMB)

As Chairman of Dexia Nederland, I am responsible for the overall governance of Dexia Nederlands activities. The role requires very strong litigation management skills and my role is to assist Dexia in resolving its legacy litigations from the past. As Chairman of the Dexia Nederland BV, the role requires a fit & proper assessment from the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Dutch National Bank (DNB) which I have successfully cleared pre-appointment confirmation

At Dexia i am responsible for the Group M&A, International Network, Group Strategy and Structuring (GSS) and Business optimisation. I am also a member of Group Committee which comprises the top 10 of the worldwide management of the Dexia group.

I joined the Board of Dexia Kommunalbank Deutschland AG (DKD) in March 2017 after having received the fit & proper approval from the European Central Bank and BUBA/Bafin. I was also (1) a Member of the DKD Audit Committee; (2) Member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee and (3) Member of the Risk Committee

As Country Head of RBS, i led a business with an annual revenue budget of c.EUR 100m represented by 115 people spread over 2 offices. I was responsible for all front to back activities (origination, client coverage, portfolio and risk management, finance, operations, regulatory relations, trade finance and all products

Leading the Belgian Coverage (Outbound and Inbound) front office team. This includes managing all client activity across 1200 inbound/outbound entities and all CIB products.

As a senior member of the team led the most challenging credit structuring mandates. Managed a portfolio of approx. EUR 5 billion across all sectors – TMT, Industrials, Power and Utilities, Autos etc.
