The main business areas consist in refinery joint ventures, processing deals, crude oil supply accords, commercialization of new crude oil streams, development of new relationships with producers, mainly in Latin America and, sometimes support short terms supply contracts, among other activities in midstream and upstream.

Analysis support to down and midstream activities within North America. Support to marketing crude oil: Market value analysis, including origination; negotiations with potential customers and; implementation of crude oil valuation methodologies.

Performing technical oil analysis and support to advice management on business decisions and business activities throughout the value chain; given support to the upstream, logistics, downstream and commercialization of oil.

Training of a team that will be responsible of crude oil commercialization by means of design and development of sophisticated analytical tools, price forecasts, information systems, and LP refinery models to be used in the evaluation of feedstocks in the international markets. Coordination of all the activities related with software acquisition and implementation as well as information systems

Development and implementation of a system to sell Venezuelan crude oils. Development of a method to fix the taxes and royalties for the companies operating in Venezuela.
