I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2018 and the following year graduated with distinction from Heriot-Watt university after studying part-time for an MBA. I moved to London and joined BDO, spending a few great years (albeit some marred by a global pandemic) in the Outsourcing & Business Services team, specialising in providing accountancy services to the Real Estate and Construction sector. This was followed by a transition to industry, as I joined the group finance team of a global insurance MGA. I've just joined Grosvenor Systems as a management accountant, it's an exciting time to be able to draw upon some of my Real Estate sector experience in the (prop)tech space.
