 Founded an onboard charity when Semester at Sea’s MV Explorer ship was rerouted in 2014 from Ghana and Senegal due to the Ebola Outbreak.  Raised funds for hospitals and research centers in Ghana and Senegal to help deter crisis, using left over foreign currency that was collected in a ship-wide movement and sent before disembarking

 Compiled interviews from former ambassadors and foreign service officers to create subject readers.
