My role as Employer Engagement Officer is to develop links with the business community to support the work of the EBP by offering Work Experience Placements to young poeple as well as offering their support with the Work Related Learning activities we organise and run within the schools.

This was a new role for the Resourcing Group who are specialists in Public and Private Sector and Housing recruitment. Due to the company looking to expand in to an area that complimented these areas, they decided to set up a Third Sector division to focus on recruitment within the Charity, Not for Profit and Arts Sectors. I joined the company with one other consultant to setup the team which now has 3 consultants

With an established client base in these areas and due to the success of the HR team, they bought me in to help establish a new desk for them which tied in with my interest in HR recruitment.
