During one season (12 month) the team develops two fully electric powered racing cars (driver and driverless) to compete with other student teams in various international student construction competitions of Formula Student. The aim of Formula Student is to complement the studies in order to gain experience in teamwork, time and project management, construction and manufacturing as well as with the economic aspects of automotive engineering.

Rotzler is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic winches and winch systems for lifting and pulling loads in applications like fire and rescue vehicles, cranes, drilling rigs and military vehicles. The internship was dedicated to learning and applying mechanical manufacturing processes like filing, sawing, drilling, countersinking, thread cutting, turning and milling, as well as mechanical forming and thermal joining and cutting processes.

Endress+Hauser is a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering in fields like chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, power and energy, primaries and metal, oil and gas, water and wastewater. I worked in the production of electronic components (processing of printed circuit boards) used for sensors and measuring instruments.
