Dr. Simone Cavenati

I worked as an associate professor at the University of the Valley of Itajaí (Itajai Campus, CTTMar - Earth and Sea Technological Science Center), where I taught courses in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and production engineering. I was responsible by the chemical Engineering Laboratory and I supervised some students. I was part of the NDE of the chemical engineering where organized events, wrote the pedagogic project of the course, among other activities.

Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Associate Laboratory CIIMAR – University of Porto on the topic “Optimization of Methodos of Pre-Treatment and Analysis of Pharmacological Trace Pollutants in the Aquatic Medium”.

Post-Doctoral Researcher under supervision of Prof. Alírio E. Rodrigues at the Associate Laboratory LSRE/LCM – Faculty of Engineering (University of Porto) on the topic “Synthesis of adsorbents for control of greenhouse gas emissions”.

ALFA fellowship (NSPnet ALR/B7-3011.94.04-6.0018.9) at the Faculty of Engineering (University of Porto). Topic: “Natural Gas Separation”.

I have professional experience as an assistant professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where I taught for two years at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Food.

I performed a six months internship at the Petrobras company (Petrosix) where I realized several activities: theoretical studies of fluidization, theoretical studies of fluidized bed combustion, drawing up blueprints for the incineration of oily residues consisting of process flowchart, mass and energy balance, calculation and dimensioning of fluidized-bed, design and specification of , among others, blower, bomb and cyclones, as well as industrial safety and instrumentation courses.
