Stefano Peccenini

Currently I am Employed in Tamedia AG as SAP Basis Administrator. Since I started working for Tamedia I was involved in ineresting and demanding projects such as: upgrades (I performed 2 upgrades), SSO implementation, content server integration and some other minor activities. I am having the chance to work in an important and complex company which has a strong SAP installation; in continuity with my previous experience I am keeping fresh my SAP knowledge.

I worked for WIIT spa for approximately 3 years; I had the chance to be involved in complex and strong projects as senior supplier and, on my company side, as technical project manager. The two most important project were the migration from AS400 to S/4HANA for Bauli SpA and the new greenfield installation for Ansaldo Energy SpA, with the migration of Data from GE Florida and Power Alstom in Baden.

I worked as SAP Consultant for this company for only one year, since the project in which I was involved finished and the company didn't have a great market in SAP. However the project was very interesting, as part of the Performance and Tuning team I increased the throughput of invoices in SAP-ISU for Enel SpA which has one of the biggest SAP installation with an Oracle DB of more then 70 TB.

I started working for Sisal as Linux administrator; however since the beginning I was involved in the migration of the accounting to SAP. It was a very demanding project, and I had the opportunity to became an SAP expert. I worked closely with many system integrator such as KPMG, Capgemini and SAP Itself and I installed and managed all the system of the company. I was involved in all the phases and I took care of all aspects such as: monitoring, clusterization, administration, backup, etc etc.

I worked in a company which provides security IT tools for the Italian forces of law and order.

This was my first full-time job, and I had the chance to start in a company that provided external consultants for McKinsey and Company in Italy. This experience was very important for my professional education. In Fact I worked as IT Specialist in the internal IT Department, where I could develop my personal work approach and mindset, that I still consider one of my personal strength.

I am a SAP Basis expert, and I have also other skills; I am attending this university while working. The main topic is the security, currently I have not finished it yet, 7 exams are still remaining.
