Tasked with analyzing supplier price portfolios that were used in the tendering process for existing and new suppliers, engaging in price discrepancy inquiries and negotiations with existing suppliers, and refining the RFI submission process for suppliers.

Took on multiple roles within the Project Controls department for the emergency shutdown and turnaround division. Job Roles and functions varied from project to project and ranged from planning bottleneck and sequential project steps, forecasting project spend amounts for Turner Industries and its sub-contractors, procuring materials for projects from local vendors, estimating construction materials and creating bid-proposal packages for client tendering.

Supervised the loading and unloading of ocean-going cargo ships. Job duties and responsibilities included the coordination of barge, crane, and river vessel movements that were utilized in operations, conducting daily safety inspections of ships and equipment, planning and negotiating load and unload sequences of cargo with external stakeholders, maintaining operational status reports for internal stakeholders.
