Working as team lead for USA based client to support their EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system on AS400 for their “Apparel” business application. It is production support job with development & Trading Partner setup for EDI customers. We use EXTOL for EDI processing, ROBOT for job scheduling and Trailblazer for encryption/decryption/sending/receiving EDI data through AS2 (over the internet). EDI data communication is being processed by AS2, VAN & FTP methods

Worked on different projects: • Data Migration • Production Support • Enhancement in PC based “Travel Account System” (TAS) to process multiple Agents. It was developed in MF-COBOL. • Quarterly Compliance Implementation released by (VisionPLUS/400) for Visa and Master Card. • Implementation and Testing of VisionPlus/400 (Credit Card System). • Development for DINERS Debit Card System in COBOL on AS/400:

I was member of Tools Development Team and took major part in the development and maintenance of different modules for the Y2K conversion Tools. These tools were designed to provide a complete solution of Y2K for the applications developed in COBOL, RPG and CLP on AS/400 platform. Here is brief description of these.

Responsible for project related activities like Requirement Study, Designing, Development, SQA, Testing & Implementation of applications as well as User Training for those. Major project was Inventory Control and Management System. This system manages the inventory of raw material, Finish Goods & General Store. This was developed in COBOL language.

I started my carrier as a Computer Programmer as well as Computer Section In-charge. During this job I was involved in the Development, Implementation and Production Support of the following applications: • Sugarcane Purchase and Payment System. • Inventory Control System. • Payroll and Personal System. • Laboratory and Production Control System.
