Contract & Commercial Manager in a variety of construction projects, latest position as CONTRACT- & COMMERCIAL MANAGER for the Consortium Heijmans-Europoles responsible for all contract- and claims management. Projects included Wintrack II, for the customer TenneT, with a contract sum of circa 220 million Euro.

Legal Manager in the Management Team consisting of four people for the DBFM-tender A6, part of the road expansion from Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere, responsible for a budget of circa 4M € and supervising 20 FTE. Responsible for all contractual negotiations with the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water, tender strategy and contractual negotiations with all partners. Resulting in acquisition of 150M € project in competition with 2 other competitors.

Contract manager for the public client (Dutch Water Board) responsible for preparing and awarding the Design & Construct contract for the rejuvenation of the river the IJssel on 20 different locations and the implementation of 14 trenches accross 25 kilometers of the River IJssel resulting in an awarded contract. End-responsible for the whole tendering process on the client's side. Serving as contractual expert for all issues and interpretation of tender documents for contractors.

Contract manager/ maintenance manager responsible for implementing all change contracts / scope variations, project adminstration, reporting to management and issuing management- and financial reports, first point of contact for the client, resolving all possible project issues. Working for the City of Amsterdam in infrastructure projects responsible for acquiring permits and subsidies at different local government entitites. Setting up certified ISO 9001:200 projects, reviewing and updating project documentation, verifying design requirements. Responsible for the reconstruction of three major tunnels in Amsterdam and various other projects.

Identified the added value that (technical) quality management tools can offer NACO, an airport design company. This resulted in a company-wide implementation plan for increasing the controllability of large projects.

Logistical research assistant. Stationed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on the Palm Deira project I constructed an easy to use logistical decision-making model for the deployment of suction hopper dredges in Dubai to ensure a steady supply of sand to one of the Palm Tree Islands at low overall costs. I was stationed in Dubai on the Palm Deira island.
