• Intern in the low-carbon urban development department (full-time) • Supporting design of € 4.5m project on sustainable urbanization with the Chinese Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development as implementation partner • Assisting to plan experience exchange of representatives from Chinese ministries to Germany with the goal to build capacities on energy efficient building standards, financing systems, and governance structures

• Working student in sustainability advisory department (three months full-time + three months 20 hours per week) • Project work on supply chain sustainability initiative for the European chemical sector • Independently designed and implemented an administrative process for HSE (health, safety, and environment) audit reports with Excel

• Intern in content department (full-time) • Independently interviewed over 40 senior-level professionals about strategic sustainability, implementation of HSE policies, and the challenges of bringing CSR to the supply chain (for example interviewed: senior vice president sustainability Philips, senior vice president sustainability Ford US) • Engaged three senior-level supply chain executives to record webinars for SCM World’s feature series

• Focus on cities, green growth in developing countries, labor rights, and urban development • Dissertation: “Muddling through – Local Planners and the London Green Belt under the Housing Crisis”

• Business curriculum with a focus on international marketing and communication • Relevant courses: statistical analysis I and II, macro- and microeconomics, accounting and finance • Semester abroad in 2013 at City University, UK (Grade First)
