Supported by my team of experts in the fields of lean & layout planning, transport management, packaging design and supplier management, I take on the responsibility for all logistics and layout planning activities. My objective is to continuously optimize the logistics activities in our production sites and our supply chain in terms of costs, quality and delivery performance. We are lean experts using tools such as Value Stream Design to implement most modern production practises.

I lead a multicultural team to continuously monitor, evaluate and develop our worldwide supply base of 300 production part suppliers. We delivered online and on-site support at suppliers to solve delivery contraints using a newly developed lean tool box. To improve the logistics quality and delivery performance of our suppliers I released a logistics guideline and designed a MMOG based audit tool which we successfully used for example to onboard our new Indian supply base (+10 suppliers).

As a senior engineer in the biggest new product project in the company's history I was responsible to coordinate layout, industrial and plant engineering activities. The focus was to create lean production Systems in terms of material flow, layout, automation strategy, ergonomics. We successfully set up a new production site in Sanand, India, we restructured a 600k unit production facility in France and we guided our implemention teams in Brazil and China.

As the central lean coordinator for GFT I coordinated and tracked the local lean activities of my plant counterparts. I lead numerous kaizen events from VSM to 5S and SMED in all plants. I wrote and released the GPS - GETRAG Production System - as a standard guideline for all GFT and GETRAG plants. I was the lead auditor to measure the plants performance against the GPS for 3 following years.

Using lean practices such as standardized work, TWI and Yamazumi I optimized manual processes in assembly lines during the launch of the first double clutch transmission production in Kechnec, Slovakia. I improved the FIFO systems and installed zero failure devices.

I managed the company's scorecard/dashboard. I standardized the reporting for coordinated improvement activities across the entire organization. In my master thesis I defined a lean production system and conducted a gap analysis to prioritize future kaizen activities.

On a daily basis I worked on calculating and optimizing the kanban and fifo structures in the production areas. I created a plan for every part and standardized packaging concepts.
