Urs Kummer

The International Fire Academy is Europe‘s leading fire academy for instruction and training in underground transportation facilities. An expert team delivers the Swiss tunnel training in the heart of Switzerland, a country known for its many tunnels, using a training concept that has been specially developed for the purpose and which enjoys extensive support. At the heart of the fire academy are two unique, gas-fired tunnel exercise facilities in which students can be deployed and trained on a 1:1 basis.

Responsible for implementation and roll-out of OLMeRO’s collaboration platform in Switzerland, Urs Kummer introduced this new service for the Swiss construction industry and their domestic and international projects. Urs Kummer was accountable for sales, consulting, support and product development.

As product manager, Urs Kummer was in charge of the software product “Global Information Network”, a webbased knowledge management system developed by The Virtual World Company. As a well experienced project manager he was accountable for various IT projects. He also supported the management board in quality management, acquisition and publishing.

Urs Kummer worked as a project manager in the construction division. He successfully managed various domestic and international projects.
