• Ensuring the logical and systematic transformation of customer or Vehicle CAN product requirements into a total systems solution that meets schedule, technical constraints. • Involve in other engineering competencies to ensure proper development, execution, and verification. Responsible for CAN Conformance Testing. • Drive process, procedure, and methodology improvements to optimize work efficiency at the team and organizational levels.

Client - CATERPILLAR • Responsible for HIL Simulation and verification for the Electric Drive Controls and Software subsystems for Off-highway Trucks and Tractors. • Develop and modify plant models by Matlab/Simulink of the electric drive systems including motors, generators and power electronics. • Develop regression tests for electric drive software using python. • Perform automated and manual testing of electric drive software using dSPACE, CANape, and ControlDesk NG.

• Responsible for engineering support to customers. This typically includes engine testing status, data analysis, results in interpretation, component troubleshooting, transient cycle evaluation, control system calibrations, and development. • Proficient in using engine tools (CAT ET, CANalyzer, CANape, Oscilloscopes) to capture ECU data, flashing the ECU control modules and monitor (diagnostics and events). • Involve in developing dSPACE Simulink (MATLAB/Simulink) plant model to perform HIL testing.

• Perform the industrial standard Finite element analysis procedure for analyzing the Caterpillar component designs. • Involve in customer meetings and Finite element model’s creation for linear static analysis of light and heavy duty Caterpillar Engine and structure assembly. • Validate the FEA results for a sanity check. • Involved in engineering report preparation such as process guidelines, Pre-and Post-processing CAE methods.

• Managing and organizing the lab priorities for T-space a part of Innovation to Entrepreneurship Mindset. • Facilitate the training sessions and scheduled for T-space innovation laboratory.

• The project is to show the real applications in modeling structures by Designing and Analyzing the Prototype G.E 2.0 MW wind turbine using Unigraphics-NX. • Design and Verify the structural integrity of wind turbine by performing FEA structural loading using NX-Nastran as a solver. • Estimate the loads used for fatigue calculations. • Model the blades using beam elements in NX-CAD and Calculate the Aerodynamic loading by performing FEA analysis using NX-Nastran.

• Research assistant and Lab mentor for T-Space lab a part of Innovation to Entrepreneurship Mindset. • Managing an open access maker space called T-Space and mentoring students participating in the initiative “Innovation to Entrepreneurship” across Kettering University. • Worked on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), and Stereolithography printers printing and producing Rapid prototype parts for the Testing.

• Created the 3D Part and Surface Models using Unigraphics-(NX), CATIA V5 and Pro/E. • Generated Bill of Materials and Experienced in using basic GD&T rules. • Modeled CAD parts and Performed 1D, 2D & 3D FEA analysis using ANSYS 11.0 and NX-Advanced Simulation. • Worked in basic Tolerance Dimensioning, Design Validation and Expressing Tolerances of a product design in reference of ASME Y14.5M-1994.

• Worked on cast simulation process to calculate cast component quality mold filling, solidification, and cooling. • Involved in lathe machine operations and fabricated the heavy vehicle rims. • Fettled the raw casting contained irregularities and imperfection in the molds. • Worked on productivity improvement team for continuous development operations.
