  • Bis heute 7 Jahre und 11 Monate, seit Aug. 2016

    Postdoctoral Researcher

    Bonn University

Postdoctoral research fellow in the Institute for Innate Immunity under the supervision of Prof. Eicke Latz. In the lab we employ a large plethora of techniques and work on models ranging from mouse cells to human patients in order to tackle and decipher basic questions regarding activation and modulation of cells of the innate immune system, with emphasis on inflammatory processes, both pathogenic derived as well as autoinflammatory manifestations.

  • 5 Jahre und 3 Monate, Mai 2011 - Juli 2016

    PhD Student

    Weizmann Institute of Science

During my Ph.D I’ve been working in the lab of Dr. Jakub Abramson in the immunology department, using a multitude of methodologies, both cellular and molecular, aimed at better understanding the mechanisms governing establishment of central immunological tolerance in the body and prevention of T-cell based autoimmunity.

  • 5 Monate, Juli 2014 - Nov. 2014

    Visiting PhD Student

    DKFZ - Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum

During my PhD I've spent a few months working in collaboration with Dr. Markus Feuerer's lab in the dkfz institute, as part of the Weizmann-dkfz Helmholtz fellowship program. This enabled me not only to benefit from their expertise and tools but also to immerse myself in the international scientific community and making connections abroad.

  • 1 Jahr und 10 Monate, Mai 2009 - Feb. 2011

    Msc Student

    Weizmann Institute of Science

During my M.Sc studies I've worked in the lab of Dr. Maya Schuldiner's lab in the Molecular Genetics department. In the lab we utilised high-throughput yeast-based methodologies aimed at gaining a system-level perspective on fundamental cell-biology questions. During my stay in the lab I successfully developed techniques enabling to 'pair' different cellular proteins with their respective cargo-receptor proteins that are essential for trafficking them to their respective cellular destination.
