My team served IBM, Lenovo and Toshiba hardware clients with spare parts, managing the purchasing operations, handling critical parts, supervising warehouse logistics and handling invoice problems. I led a global team of approx 20 people.

My team enabled manufacturing of storage servers by providing continuous component supply of 1100+ parts, following manufacturing demand and order load. Tasks included relationship management, implementing warehousing and logistics solutions, order management, critical parts management, NPI support, component lifecycle and liability management, vendor invoice problem management.

I was leader of two teams of 4 execution buyers, first I led the interconnect and packaging materials supply assurance team, later I moved to high value electronics components. I was the primary NPI interface between R&D and Procurement for new parts MM setup, ordering, demand forecasting, new supplier setup, VMI setup and overall pre-GA supply assurance.

I managed supplier selection, pricing negotiations and contracting for the global needs of IBM Storage division new products, for the production commodity family of cables and connectors. Key tasks involved RFQ process, negotiations, cost savings achievements, contract management and supply issue resolution. I had supplier management review meetings in EMEA, US, China and Singapore and regularly interlocked with R&D in the US.

General Procurement sourcing and execution professional, sourcing and buying IT and telecom services and hardware for an IBM legal entity with 2500 employees.

Started and managed my own company for the international trade of paper packaging products.

I led the sales and operations of a midsized paper packaging manufacturer in Hungary.

I led the small office of a Szeged based travel agency in Budapest, focusing on corporate travel services and managing the marketing activities and NPI.

I built and sold individual travel products for special interest travellers.
