Über mich
I studied Technical Chemistry at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Science in Nürnberg. I graduated in 2003 and joined the former Degussa AG. There I started working in an R&D group specialized in polymer process engineering developing new polymerization processes, downstream processes for disperse systems, foaming, extrusion and processes with supercritical CO2. Topics of my work cover the whole range of process development from experiments in lab scale including DoE-methods, the layout, construction and operation of pilot plants including safety assessments, transfer to production scale and the development and application of analytical methods. Another key aspect of my work became the modelling of polymerization processes such a bulk, solution and emulsion polymerization with software as Aspen Plus or Predici including the measurement and evaluation of kinetic data .
