When the Vigilare Project (Prime Equipment) Contract was activated, Don Cameron rejoined the project (see below), in the roles of Design Engineer, acting Safety Manager, Security Engineer, Analysis and Design Team Lead, and System Architect, all in the System Analysis and Integration Team.

Boeing Australia has won the position of preferred supplier of the Vigilare Air Defence System (value ~M$100). Don was part of the System Analysis and Integration Team, developing the high level architecture for the system. 1998-1999: Boeing Australia had won the contract to develop an integrated HF radio network; Don was part of the Architecture Group, developing the high level architecture for the system.
