To study the contractile nature in detail and find out the reason behind its mechanics. Also, we would like to study the cortical flows and the pseudo cleavage due to series of contractions mainly due to actin cytoskeleton and cytoplasmic flows. We would also explore genetics in C. Elegans since it has complete genetic sequence and therefore serves as good model organism to do eukaryotic genetic studies.

Worked on synthesis of membranes by lipids or fatty acids and analysing their stability at various conditions such as differnt pH , temperature, Salt concentration in order to find the most optimum conditions. Finally, the binding assay experiments were done in order to study the interaction of these membranes with RNA.
